Theodore F. Casamer

Theodore is listed as Theodore F. Casatner in the Michigan records. From Orion, Michigan he enlisted at Orion, Michigan on September 14, 1861 for 3 years of service at age 18, mustering in on February 6, 1862. Re-enlisting at Rossville, Georgia on February 6, 1864, mustering in on February 16, 1864. Wounded in action near East Point, Georgia on August 5, 1864, and then again at Jonesboro, Georgia on September 1, 1864. He was discharged at Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on June 30, 1865. He died on May 19, 1900 and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Saginaw, Michigan.Evergreen cemetery at Lake Orion, Michigan.
