William Wesley Caldwell

Company E, 13th Michigan Infantry

From Cass County, Michigan, William enlisted on September 22, 1861at Pipestone, Michigan for three years service at the age of 18. He re-enlisted January 16, 1864 at Chattanooga, Tennessee and was promoted to Corporal in March of 1865 and then to Sergeant on June 1, 1865. He mustered out of the service at Louisville, Kentucky on July 25, 1865.
